Update: We have received an overwhelming amount of phones calls and some messages from Twin Falls and Buhl of Secret Santas in action.

K-mart manager, Bonnie, reported over 50 layaway accounts paid off by Secret Santas.

Do you know any random acts of Santa? Tell us about them.

It always warms my heart to see people's kindness this time of year. They are dropping money in the Salvation Army's red buckets, donating toys, or just opening a door for someone with full hands. Kindness is one of the best things about this time of year, and it comes in all different shapes and sizes.

Some gestures are bigger than others, which brings me to the Secret Santa movement that is sweeping the nation, and possibly right here in Twin Falls.

According to TIME Moneyland, anonymous Secret Santas are paying off the layaway accounts of total strangers across the country. These generous people go into K-marts, Walmarts and other stores and pay people's layaway balance.

There are even unconfirmed reports that it's happened right here in Twin Falls at the K-mart on Addison.

Can you imagine going into pay off your layaway and finding that a complete stranger has paid it off for you?

The trend apparently began when one woman paid around $500 toward three layaway accounts at a K-mart in Michigan. The woman specifically looked for accounts with toys placed on layaway in order to help out families with little ones at home. The movement has taken on a life of its own and now hundreds of layaway accounts around the country have been paid off by random strangers.

This is truly a blessed time of year.
