Houda from the College of Southern Idaho came by the studio's to let us know about the college's upcoming events. 

  • One of the most exciting art shows of the year is at the Herrett Center right now. The Student Art Show represents the best works of this year’s CSI art students. It includes more than 100 paintings, sketches, three-dimensionals, ceramics, sculptures, and photographs. The Herrett Center art gallery is open each Tuesday through Saturday. Admission is free of charge. The show will be on display through May 13th.
  • Idaho’s Attorney General, Lawrence Wasden, will be the next guest speaker at the Herrett Forum at 7:30 next Wednesday, the 19th. His topic will be “Public Lands: What Are They and Who Manages Them?” Herrett Forums are always free and open to the public.
  • CSI’s 3rd annual Disc Golf Tournament is coming up next Saturday, April 22nd. This is a scholarship fundraiser that’s put on by the CSI Student Senate. There are divisions for beginners and players with intermediate and advanced disc golf skills. Entry fees range from $15 for beginners to $25 for advanced players. You can register starting at 8 a.m. on the 22nd but if you register online, you’ll be sure to get a free event T-shirt. Go to goldeneagle4disc@gmail.com
