Two Vehicle Crash Westbound on Interstate 86 near milepost 9 in Cassia County

On April 6, 2014, at approximately 7:18 p.m., Idaho State Police investigated a two vehicle crash on westbound I86 near milepost 9, in Cassia County.

Dane M. Jensen, 28, of Burley, ID, driving a 2003 Ford pickup in the left lane and Christopher D. Freeman, 30, of Idaho Falls, ID, driving a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado pickup, pulling a 1995 Road Ranger travel trailer in the right lane, both traveling westbound on I86. Jensen hit the rear quarter panel of the travel trailer, lost control, drove off the right shoulder, and rolled his vehicle.

Jensen was transported by ground ambulance to the Cassia Regional Medical Center in Burley, ID. Freeman was not transported. Jensen and Freeman were wearing seat belts.
