UPDATE 10:AM 9-30-14: Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - Police in Twin Falls have released more details following the two robberies at Walgreens and Big-K Monday night. In both cases the male suspect was wearing a surgical mask.

Police say the first robbery was reported at Walgreens,306 Blue Lakes Blvd. North in Twin Falls at 7:25 P.M. Authorities say a male approached the pharmacy counter and handed an employee a note demanding certain pharmaceutical medications (pain medication). The subject is described as being in his 20's, approximately six feet tall, dark complexion, and wearing a yellow colored hooded sweatshirt. The male was wearing a surgical mask or bandana over his face.

After obtaining the medications, the male subject left the store. Direction and means of travel are unknown at this time. No weapon was displayed by the subject and no one was injured during the robbery.

Then at about 8:35 P.M., the Twin Falls Police Department responded to a second pharmacy robbery. Shortly after the robbery at Walgreens, the Big K pharmacy at 2258 Addison Ave East was robbed.

The male subject passed a note to the pharmacy employee demanding certain pharmaceutical medications. The subject was described as a white male, approximately six feet tall, black and red hat, black sweater/sweatshirt with grey sleeves, white shoes, and black leggings. The subject wore a medical/surgical style mask over his face and was last seen running southbound through the Lighthouse Christian School parking lot, located at 960 Eastland Drive.

No weapon was displayed by the subject and no one was injured during the robbery.

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) Twin Falls Police are investigating two pharmacy robberies that happened within an hour of each other on Monday evening.

Very little information is being released at this time, but here's what we do know. The first happened at around 7:30 at the Walgreens on Blue Lakes Boulevard North. While police were on the scene of that robbery, a call came in for the second at around 8:30.

This time from the Kmart on Addison Avenue. It's not known at this time if these two robberies are related. We'll have more information on these two robberies as it becomes available.
