This is one of those lists you never want to be on. Two states bordering Idaho have ended up on the national statistics as ranking worst for drug-related deaths according to Health Grove.com. One you may have suspected, but the other one may shock you.

A whopping 78.45% of people live in counties in Utah where drug-related deaths are high. But, that's nothing compared to the state that came in #1. That non-honor goes to our friends in Nevada.

91.22% of people in Nevada live in counties with high drug-related deaths. The good news, if there is any, is that the northern counties that border Idaho are least effected by this.

What about Idaho? Idaho didn't make the top 20 fortunately, although our friends in Oregon did end up at #16.
