Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) – A Twin Falls woman was arraigned Wednesday in Twin Falls County Magistrate Court following a charge of Aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.

Twin Falls County Sheriff Deputies arrested Jordana Brenda Bryan 62 on January 24 at the assisted living home she owns. Deputies assisted the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare and state adult protective services in an investigation on January 24 at Iris House Alternative Living 2669 East 3500 North in Twin Falls County. State officials were removing all vulnerable people and relocating them to different homes.

On February 14, Bryan was picked up on the warrant and charged with aggravated battery. A $50,000 bond was posted later in the day.

Authorities were investigating a case where a vulnerable adult male had a large cut on his head. He was also covered with dried blood, according to the sheriff’s office.

It was reported that Jordana Bryan, the owner, had hit the resident over the head with a metal pipe several times.

According to court records, Bryan was convicted for battery in 2013 after attacking her boyfriend and another woman. In 2009 she was also charged with operating an unlicensed care facility. That after an unattended death was not reported to law enforcement. That charge was later dismissed by prosecutors.
