TWIN FALLS, Idaho (AP) — A Twin Falls woman has pleaded guilty to giving a narcotic pain patch to a man who nearly died of an overdose. The Times-News reports 32-year-old Rachel Poe pleaded guilty Monday to delivery of a controlled substance for giving the man a Fentanyl patch in early January.

Prosecutors say the man suffered an overdose and required life-saving procedures at the hospital. The man's roommate told investigators that the man was hesitant to use Fentanyl, but agreed after Poe insisted.

The roommate said when the man lost consciousness early on Jan. 5 Poe fled, saying she could not be there when police arrived because she was on probation. Poe is scheduled to be sentenced on June 28.
