Twin Falls Street to Be One Way for More Parking

Google Maps

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX)- Most drivers in Twin Falls are used to just two one way streets. Pretty soon, they’ll have another one way street. Monday night the Twin Falls city council voted in support of turning 4th Avenue North into a one way street. The decision came after a request by First Federal Bank to make the change. First Federal plans on building a new office building next to their current bank location in downtown Twin Falls.  The new building will be built in an area that is currently a parking lot.

Part of the building will allow underground parking, however, more space will be needed for parking. Making part of 4th Avenue North a one way allows for more public parking along the street.
The street would run one way heading northwest between Shoshone and Fairfield Street. All city council members voted in support of the change. First federal plans on starting construction this spring.
