It is important to us how our schools are doing. If our schools are doing well, our kids are doing well. Parents want to give their kids the best eduction that they can so its important to have them in good schools.

The Idaho Department of Education understands that they schools need to be rated so they have developed a five star rating program. One star is the lowest rating, and five stars is the best.

A few south-central Idaho schools received top marks: Albion Elementary in Cassia County, Dietrich School and two schools in the Blaine County School District — Wood River and Silver Creek high schools.
