Yesterday afternoon a base jumper was rescued by more than 30 first responders after a gust of wind blew her back under the bridge, causing her chute to become entangled and caught on the bottom trestle.

I noticed comments from some of you about whether or not it was a good idea to be base jumping during windy conditions yesterday.

I even saw a couple of comments that suggested that base jumpers should have to pay for rescue efforts following an incident like this. One of you called the show this morning and echoed that sentiment.

Do you think that jumpers should be paying closer attention to weather conditions and do you think that they should have to pay for rescue efforts? Leave a comment and let me know what you think.
