Update: Four Arrested in Twin Falls Kidnapping Case; Boy Found Safe

Twin Falls Police have arrested a 28-year-old mother and her two alleged accomplices in a custodial kidnapping case. The ordeal started at around 10:00 this morning at 453 Pierce Street. Police responded to a report of shots fired and a child kidnapping. Police say 28-year-old Stefanie Contreras entered the home with two men and kidnapped her 4-year-old son Brandon Bearce. police got information that Contreras had gone to a home at 780 Maurice Street in Twin Falls. A SWAT team of 10-12 members responded and surrounded the residence but upon entering the house hours later found no one inside. The boys mother and the two suspects were located in Hailey late this evening. Stefanie Contreras now faces kidnapping and burglary charges. Daniel Thomas of Hailey faces aggravated assault, kidnapping and burglary while Kevin Milo, Jr. is looking at kidnapping and burglary charges. Police say the boy is safe and unharmed.

A fourth person has been arrested in connection with the custodial kidnapping of 4-year-old Brandon Bearce. Police say 39 year old David L. Altes was located on Highway 30, west of Twin Falls.  He was arrested and is charged with conspiracy to commit kidnapping.
