TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX)-Twin Falls Police is asking the public for help locating a lost TASER. According to police it came loose from a police officers belt sometime between 4:30pm Friday and 1:30am on Saturday June 29th.

So far police have not been able to locate the standard issue TASER. It is a X26 made by TASER International. It is issued to law enforcement and military only. The yellow TASER was in its holster and had two functioning cartridges with it.

According to Twin Falls Police this is the first time a TASER has been lost since they began using them in 2006. An internal investigation will be done to figure out if any policies have been violated.
