The Twin Falls Police Department want to reward kids who play safe and Subway is helping. Together, they have a "Playing Safe" program where they will issue citations to kids they see who are practicing safety.

Starting Tuesday, August 30, Twin Falls Police officers will appear at random locations where children are present, especially near schools and street crossings. When they see a child doing what they're supposed to be doing when it comes to safety, they will hand out Subway gift cards.

If you're a kid that's riding a bicycle and wearing a helmet, you could get a free gift card. Same goes with a kid that has a phone, but isn't texting and walking. The program is designed to reward kids who are paying attention and doing what they can to stay out of trouble.
