Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - Twin Falls police have arrested a woman who has been charged with Grand Theft and two counts of Criminal Possession of a Financial Transaction Card.

Randa Gail Stone, 32 will appear for her preliminary hearing on April 3, 2015 before judge Thomas Kershaw on the charge that she used a stolen credit card at several businesses in Twin Falls.

According to information filed with the courts, on January 14, 2015 a woman reported that while shopping at a store on Filer Avenue in Twin Falls, she accidentally left her wallet in a cart. When she reviewed her charges she discovered over $300 of fraudulent charges. Police began an investigation where they followed the purchases and reviewed surveillance video.

Authorities allege that after speaking to several business operators and low income service providers, Stone was identified as the person in the photos. Armed with the information, detectives spoke with Stone.

Court records claim that the woman admitted that she had found the wallet in a shopping cart after getting off work on January 12, 2015. “She said she was short on money and bought what she needed at the time and then threw the cards away,” court records claim.
