Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) - Officers with the Twin Falls Police Department apprehended three shoplifters who were found to be involved in more than just stealing from local retailers.

At approximately 7:50 p.m. Friday, Jan. 10, officers were dispatched to Sportsman’s Warehouse, located at 1940 Bridgeview Blvd. in Twin Falls, where three adult males were allegedly shoplifting. When Twin Falls police arrived, witnesses told the officers that one shoplifter had gone to a vehicle in a parking lot in front of the store while the other two were detained by employees inside the store. Twin Falls police spoke with the suspect in the vehicle, who was later taken into custody. Officers then entered Sportsman’s Warehouse and spoke with two other suspects who were also taken into custody.

While speaking with the two suspects in the store, one of the suspects became agitated and resisted an officer’s commands. The officer requested the help of store employees, who assisted in taking the male individual into custody.

Officers later learned that the suspect had multiple felony warrants in various jurisdictions. He was also found to be in possession of Oxycodone and had willfully concealed merchandise. During the investigation, officers also discovered a large amount of property in the vehicle in the parking lot, which officers believe had been stolen in a reported home burglary earlier in the day.

Twin Falls police arrested Anoura Sarnirand, 24, of Twin Falls, felony grand theft, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest, providing false information and willful concealment. Police also arrested Travis Teeples, 41, of Twin Falls and William McGrath, 21, also of Twin Falls for felony theft by possession. All three individuals were booked in the Twin Falls County Jail.
