Twin Falls Police Are Cracking Down on Illegal Fireworks [Video]

The Twin Falls Police Department is cracking down on illegal fireworks under a new city ordinance. They’ve created a special Public Service Announcement to help spread the word.

This year, all fireworks must stay near the ground and cannot emit sparks any further than 15 feet off the ground. Bottle rockets and fountains are illegal under the new ordinance.

If caught with illegal fireworks they will be confiscated and you face a fine of $100 plus court costs.

Fireworks go on sale June 23rd, 2013 in the city of Twin Falls.
