TWIN FALLS, Idaho (AP) — A southern Idaho judge has again delayed the murder trial for a Rupert man charged with shooting his brother. The Times-News reports that 33-year-old Damon Azure was scheduled to stand trial starting next month, but 5th District Judge Randy Stoker has agreed to give defense attorneys more time to prepare. Prosecutors say Azure shot and killed his brother, Seanachan Azure, in February 2012. Damon Azure's defense attorneys have tried unsuccessfully to overturn Idaho's ban on the insanity defense, but a court has ruled that Azure is seriously mentally ill. A new trial date has not been set.
