Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV) Thirty eight million dollars is the estimated cost for the proposed upgrades to the Twin Falls Wastewater Treatment Plant. Idaho’s First News Reports Monday night the city council voted to approve a contract to begin the design and bidding for this major project. The Wastewater Treatment Plant is at capacity. That is limiting the potential for future growth. But the city began moving forward with a major project to upgrade the aging system. At Monday night’s city council meeting, the council approved a contract with CH2M Hill Engineers out of Boise. The contract for just over three million dollars is to design and bid the upgrade project.
