TWIN FALLS, Idaho (AP) — A Twin Falls man currently on trial for shooting and injuring his brother is now facing a new felony firearm charge amid allegations he pulled a gun on three people this week. Thirty-one-year-old Juan Roberto Jimenez was arraigned Wednesday on three counts of felony aggravated assault and another for being a felon in possession of a firearm. The Times-News reports the new charges stem from an encounter earlier this week with three men who were repossessing his vehicle. Jimenez is on trial this week on separate criminal charges, including aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. He's accused of shooting and wounding his brother Jorge Alvarado in February at a Twin Falls home. Jimenez' defense attorney told the jury this week his client acted in self-defense.
