TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) A 73 year old Twin Falls man pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography on Wednesday.

According to the U.S. Attorney's office, Richard Roy Sexton admitted to downloading images of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct from the internet. Sexton gave agents with the Idaho Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and United States Postal Inspectors Service permission to seize and search his computer and an external hard drive.

The investigation was initiated in October 2015 after Sexton visited a cellphone store in Twin Falls for help with a tablet. A worker there called the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children after finding child pornography on the tablet.

In the plea agreement, Sexton admitted to having 360 images and 40 videos of minors engaged in sexual conduct. Sexton will be sentenced early next year. He could face up to 20 years in prison and $250,000 in fines.
