TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX)- The Twin Falls Public Library is taking the library to the people. Recently the library was able to pick up a used book mobile. Last night the Twin Falls city council was given a tour of the book bus that can hold several thousand books. The book mobile will only operate within the city of Twin Falls, but will still have a long reach says Library Director Susan Ash.

She says they'll take the book mobile to retirement homes, daycare, city parks as well as shopping centers. Ash says that they’ll start off with a varied collection of about 1500 books for older and younger readers. They hope to expand the collection. The public won’t see the book mobile until the spring time. It still needs to get a new graphic wrapped around it.
