Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - The Twin Falls County Commissioners reached a settlement with Jayco today. For the past two years the vehicle manufacturing company and the county have been discussing the company's property value.

The county originally appraised the land at $8,600,000 million, while Jayco argued it was worth $5,300,000. Ultimately they decided to meet somewhere in the middle, with the property now valued at roughly $6,500,000 million.

Twin Falls County Commissioner George Urie explained, "we have been in the process of negotiating and re-figuring and seeing if we can avoid the court issue, so that was what we were doing today. We've come to an agreement we can all agree with."

Jayco originally went to the Board of Tax Appeals, and when that change wasn't agreed on with the county the two met in district court. The Commissioners unanimously agreed on the proposed changes.
