Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) Plans are in the works for possible stop lights at the intersection of Hankins Road and Addison Avenue E. in Twin Falls.

Monday the council gave the OK for a partnership between the city and the Twin Falls Highway District to begin exploring potential plans.

With the city continuing to grow, and the addition of a new school in the area, the city council said it was a good idea to look into.

"It is all contingent on funding as is any city endeavor or highway district endeavor, but it is a good opportunity for the two entities to work together for public safety,” said Mayor Don Hall.

With the project in the early exploratory stages, it could be another year before construction would even begin.
