Twin Falls Bomb Squad Called to Dispose of Dynamite Found in Jerome Basement

JEROME, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) – The Twin Falls Bomb Squad is en route to a Jerome residence after several sticks of dynamite were found in the basement Tuesday morning.

The owner of the home, located on the 500 block of Fifth Avenue East, is renting out the home and was there to conduct some maintenance.

In the basement, the owner found four to five sticks of dynamite in a box that were ‘sweating.’

Fire Chief Tom Hughes told KMVT's Jess Knight the fire department went to the house and checked the scene and are waiting for the Twin Falls Bomb Squad to arrive.
