The Twin Falls City Council has adopted some new rules for fireworks after a deluge of complaints over the last 4th of July period.  The new rules indicate when so called “safe” fireworks may be discharged and the fines for discharging those considered unsafe.  Ground spinning fireworks and sparklers may be used between 8 a.m. and midnight June 23rd through July 5th and Dec. 26th through Jan. 1 as well as between midnight and 1 a.m. on New Year’s Day.  Those discharging so called unsafe or illegal fireworks or discharging permitted fireworks outside the designated times would be subject to a $100 fine.
