Truck with Equipment Hits Overpass on I-84

MERIDIAN, Idaho (AP) — A vehicle carrying construction equipment struck an overpass on Interstate 84 in southwest Idaho on Thursday. Idaho State Police say westbound lanes on the interstate are reduced to two lanes and northbound State Highway 69 is restricted to one lane. Police say the crash occurred at about 9:30 a.m. Some vehicles sustained damage after striking debris from the overpass that fell on the interstate. Police haven't reported any injuries. Idaho Transportation Department workers are at the scene assessing the damage to the overpass.
