Jerome, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) - Two vehicles were struck by a semi truck drive line when it came loose near the I-84/Highway 93 off ramp early this Tuesday morning.

Idaho State Police say that when the line came off of the truck it punctured one of the trucks diesel tanks. There were three cars following the truck. The first car swerved to miss the drive line.

It then struck a second and third car. The second car stopped while the third car proceeded on, police say. The semi stopped near the off ramp. Jerome Rural fire responded to remove the diesel before it could seep into the dirt causing more damage. Emergency personnel were called to the scene at 7:05am. There were no injuries reported.
