BLISS, Idaho -- An Oregon truck driver has been cited for inattentive driving after his semi truck flipped and landed on its side, blocking both eastbound lanes of Interstate 84 near Bliss Tuesday afternoon. Idaho State Police say William Maroon, 68, of Harrisburg, Ore., was eastbound in a 2012 Freightliner when he drove off the right shoulder and overcorrected. The semi landed on its side, slid and came to rest in the median and blocked both eastbound lanes. The accident happened around 12:45 p.m. Police say Maroon was injured and taken to North Canyon Medical Center for treatment. He was wearing a seatbelt. The right lane of I-84 reopened to traffic just before 3 p.m. The left lane remained closed while troopers continued their investigation. Via ktvb.com
