LEWISTON, Idaho (AP) — A 25-year-old transgender woman was banned from an Idaho grocery store after customers complained she used the women's restroom. Alberto Robledo of Lewiston, who goes by Ally, says she was leaving a Rosauers store in Lewiston late on April 8 when police officers gave her paperwork informing her that she had a "no trespassing" order against her for using the women's restroom.

A manager at Rosauers declined to comment. Lewiston Police Capt. Roger Lanier says some customers complained about a man using the women's restroom. He says the store has the right to refuse service to anyone. Robledo says she has used the women's restroom at the store on previous occasions without any problems.
