Since there's a big, new movie coming, it's time to make a Transformers game and roll out before it hits theaters.

This new trailer shows off the third-person, mechanized warfare of Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark. This tie-in to 'Transformers: Age of Extinction' is being developed by Edge of Reality, which is known for porting preexisting games to other systems along with Loadout, the studio's third-person, free-to-play shooter for PC. Unfortunately, High Moon Studios, which brought us the amazing Transformers trilogy of War for Cybertron, Fall of Cybertron and Dark of the Moon, will not being making this movie companion.

Rise of the Dark Spark's trailer hints that Edge of Reality is seeking to intertwine the graphics style of the High Moon games along with the character designs of the Michael Bay films. Sideswipe, Bumblebee, Grimlock and Optimus will be taking on the likes of Vortex, Lockdown and Meatron as Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark launches on June 24 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. 'Transformers: Age of Extinction' will be debuting in theaters nationwide on June 27.
