Trace Adkins is the latest country star to land his own radio show on SiriusXM.

The country star is set to host The Throwback Thirty, a weekly show that will air on SiriusXM's Y2Kountry channel. Adkins will count down the top 30 Billboard country songs from that week, but a different year, spotlighting a new year in each broadcast.

This is Adkins' first radio hosting gig, but he's had a long and diverse career outside of his recording and touring. The singer — whose hits include "Every Light in the House," "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk," "(This Ain't) No Thinkin' Thing," "I'm Tryin'" and "You're Gonna Miss This," among others — has also appeared in films and on television, written a book and done voiceover work.

Adkins' films include The Lincoln Lawyer, The Virginian and Moms' Night Out. He has acted on Yes, Dear, and appeared as himself on shows including Celebrity Apprentice, The Young and the Restless, My Name Is Earl and more, in addition to voicing characters on American Dad and King of the Hill. He published an autobiography titled A Personal Stand: Observations and Opinions from a Free-Thinking Roughneck in 2007.

Adkins joins several fellow country stars who already host shows on SiriusXM; Eric Church hosts Outsiders Radio once a month, Martina McBride has her own show, and Steve Earle and Elizabeth Cook co-host Outlaw Country. SiriusXM also has a popular channel called Willie's Roadhouse, which features classic and traditional country and Willie Nelson-themed content.

The Throwback Thirty is set to debut on Sunday (March 15), featuring songs from the year 2000.
