This teaser trailer for Tom Clancy's The Division has left us fiending to see Ubisoft's Snowdrop engine in action.

Ubisoft has released a teaser video to get us hyped up for the official E3 trailer of Tom Clancy's The Division. While such a short teaser for an upcoming trailer may seem like a bit much, we feel that Ubisoft is justified. The Division is going to be a joint project by Massive Entertainment, known for its work on Far Cry 3, and Red Storm, the team responsible for most of the Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon series. This third-person shooter is being built from the ground-up using Ubisoft's innovative Snowdrop engine.

The Division's story depicts a pandemic that swept across New York City, resulting in all-out chaos throughout the five boroughs. You play a member of a group of tactical agents, who are all trained to sustain themselves in extreme environments, who must try and save any healthy New Yorkers left in the massive quarantine.

Tom Clancy's The Division is expected to launch in early 2015 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Stay tuned as we will provide more coverage of The Division during Ubisoft's anticipated E3 presentation on June 9.
