TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) Three people had to be taken to the hospital after a Friday night crash involving two cars near the Idaho/Nevada state line.

The crash happened at around 11 p.m. on Highway 93 about 4.5 miles from Jackpot, Nevada, according to Idaho State Police. ISP says Daniel Ray, 43, of Jerome, was headed north in a Dodge van when he pulled off to the side of the road. At the same time, Arthur Johnson, 68, of Portland, Oregon, went around Ray in a Buick Enclave. Police say Ray pulled back onto the the road and hit Johnson's car causing it to roll onto the driver's side.

Ray's van ended up in the berm. He had to be taken by air ambulance to a Pocatello hospital. His passenger, a 43 year old Tacoma woman was taken by ground ambulance to a Twin Falls Hospital. Johnson was wearing a seat belt and taken to the hospital in Twin Falls. The northbound lane of U.S. Highway 93 was blocked for about 4 hours.
