PAUL, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) – Three people were arrested Tuesday following a controlled buy of one-fourth pound of methamphetamine in Minidoka County.

Doug John Nelson, 49 of Pocatello, Ozvaldo Ramires, 22 of Twin Falls, and Julie Marie Dweitt, 48 of Filer, were all charged with conspiracy to traffic methamphetamine and failure to purchase a drug tax stamp, according to a Minidoka County Sheriff’s Officenews release.

The efforts of the Mini-Cassia Drug Task Force, Minidoka County Sheriff’s Office and the Cassia County Sheriff’s Office made a controlled buy of methamphetamine at about 10:05 p.m. in Paul.

Nelson is being held on a $100,000 bond. He had a $100,000 warrant form Twin Falls County for trafficking, unlawful possession of a firearm, and drug paraphernalia. Ramirez is being held on a $50,000 bond. Dewitt is being held on a $25,000 bond.
