New information on The Last of Us Remastered has popped up overnight, giving those of you looking forward to re-acquainting with Joel and Ellie some new things to get excited about.

According to CVG, a Spanish journalist tweeted a few slides from a Naughty Dog presentation he recently attended. The slides shed a little bit of light on some new additions to The Last of Us that we previously weren't familiar with.

Of course The Last of Us Remastered will be in 1080p and run at 60 frames per second, but now we know that players looking for the feel of the original can lock the game at 30 frames per second. The article also reports that the game will sport a Photo Mode a la Infamous: Second Son based on information from Eurogamer, but the tweeted slides make no mention of that new mode.

Most interesting about the slides is the information on downloadable content. The game will come packaged with the Left Behind expansion and two multiplayer DLC packs, but the last slide also says that "more add-on releases [are] planned for 2014." Could we get another single-player Last of Us chapter? Who would it follow? That line alone raises a lot of questions, but we'll have to wait and see what Naughty Dog has in store. Thankfully, all content will be cross-buy with the PlayStation 3 version, so those of you who won't be rebuying the game will still get access to whatever comes down the line.

The Last of Us: Remastered launches for the PlayStation 4 on July 29.
