Buying a house is incredibly stressful.  It's so stressful that it makes the process of actually moving in seem easy.  And a new survey put into perspective just how stressful it is.

According to Express.co.uk more than two-thirds of the people surveyed said buying a house, which took an average of 15 weeks, aged them two full years.  A few people even said it aged them four years.

10% of people said it led to hair loss and 14% suffered short-term memory loss.

The biggest stress point was worrying about a mortgage approval.  Inept lawyers and bad real estate agents also caused major stress.  Plus the strain on your marriage.

If you are buying house keep in mind that no house is perfect and don't sweat the small stuff.
