The Flies Are Driving Me Crazy!

I have lived in this area pretty much my entire life. Every year when it starts to get cold, I try a new way to get rid of flies. And even though I try a new way every year, I still can't seem to get them out of my house, my garage, my car, etc. So I am asking you...how in the world do you keep those pesky, gross little flies out of your house?
