The Big Idaho Potato Truck is getting ready to visit cities across Idaho. The Big Potato truck is planning to start it's four month journey on April 15th! Throughout the truck's journey it will stop and identify charities, in many of the markets it visits, and offer help based on the organization’s specific needs.

4-H clubs are one of the main charities that the truck will help. They will be the first to receive “A Big Helping” from the 2015 Big Idaho Potato Truck Tour.

At the first of the month you may have noticed, a lot of clubs launching food drives. The club that collects the most food in pounds for its local food bank will receive $500 to fund a community service project of its choice. To demonstrate its commitment to this new mission, the Idaho Potato Commission will make a potato donation to the Idaho Food Bank in Boise that equals the total weight of all the food collected by the 4-H clubs.

The winner will be announced by the Idaho Potato Commission on April 15 at the Idaho Food Bank in Boise. This announcement will officially kick off the 2015 Big Idaho Potato Truck Tour.

According to magicvalley.com, the Big  2015 Tour is going to be a little more personal.
