UPDATE – Hawkins Selected. (TF City Council Candidate Interviews Friday)

The Times News reports that the Twin Falls City Council Selection Committee has selected Suzanne Hawkins to fill the seat vacated by Lance Clow. Hawkins, 48, was one of four finalists for the job. The selection committee, made up of Mayor Greg Lanting and Councilmen Don Hall and Chris Talkington, interviewed finalists today for the job in a private meeting.  Though the mayor makes the selection, the entire council must approve Hawkins’ appointment on Monday. If the council votes their approval, Hawkins will be sworn in immediately and will vote on that evening’s issues.
