Testimony Reveals More in Idaho Cold Case
BOISE, Idaho (AP) — A former roommate of accused double murderer Michael Dauber testified that he saw a victim's body in 2000 but was told by Dauber to keep quiet.
The Idaho Statesman reports Tom Tiffany recalled seeing Joshua Reddington's body on the floor of their cabin with a hole in his forehead. Tiffany said Dauber explained to him that Reddington was a bad person and if they both kept quiet they would get tickets to heaven.
After a seven-hour hearing Friday, Magistrate Judge John Hawley Jr. found enough evidence that Dauber killed Reddington to advance the first-degree murder case to district court. Reddington's death is the first of two old murder cases pending against Dauber. He is also charged in the 2007 death of Steven Kalogerakos.
