When Apple launched iOS 6 in September to coincide with the release of the iPhone 5, the gave the boot to two Google services that had been there since the beginning: YouTube and Google Maps. Since then we've heard how unhappy Apple customers are with the Apple Maps replacement.

Well iPhone users, fret no more. Google Maps is back, and it's way better than ever.

Google Maps is fast, clean, and truly the hands-down best map app for the iPhone. It does everything you remember it doing, but it's added a few new tricks as well.

Google Maps now offers turn-by-turn directions, traffic information, location reviews, and more. It really is an amazing app. It's everything Apple Maps should have been, but failed so miserably at. Google Maps is back and free for iPhone.
