Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) - Twin Falls deputies were called to a one vehicle rollover that was discovered about 11:30 pm Tuesday night. Lori Stewart with the Twin Falls Sheriff’s Office tells Idaho's First News, Shelby Wheeler, 19 of Buhl was the driver of a 2004 Hyundai Sonata westbound on 3500 North.

She lost control of the vehicle at 900 east when the roadway turned to gravel. The vehicle left the road and flipped several times. Authorities say both the driver and her minor aged passenger were ejected from the vehicle.

The minor aged female was transported by ground ambulance with minor injuries while Shelby was transported by air ambulance to St. Alphonsus in Boise with serious life threatening injuries. The crash is still under investigation but its believed speed was a factor. Authorities also believe the crash occurred several hours before it was discovered.
