Taylor Swift's performance of 'Red' with Vince Gill and Alison Krauss at the 2013 CMA Awards was easily the highlight of the show for me. It's also quite beautiful.

This version of 'Red', recorded during the 2013 CMA Awards on November 6th, is breathtakingly beautiful in its simplicity. One of the most common criticisms of Swift's album 'Red' was that it "didn't sound very country." I think a reinterpretation this powerful proves that Swift is a gifted songwriter and her artistry is undeniable.
