Three new screenshots for Forza Horizon 2 have leaked, showing some truly incredible visuals for Microsoft’s next racing title.

On a NeoGaf forum today, a user named Dinjooh has posted three high resolution screen shots from Forza Horizon 2. The images show several world-class supercars, including the Pagani Huayra and Lamborghini Aventador, and showcase the impressive graphical fidelity of the game. At a glance, it’s almost impossible to tell these game-generated images from real world photographs. Forza Horizon 2 uses the same graphics engine as Forza Motorsport 5, which received unanimous critical praise for its visual presentation. While it’s not specified which version the leaked images came from, it’s safe to assume they’re from the Xbox One.

The Forza series features a photo mode that allows players to capture still images at any point in a race. This photo mode produces slightly better looking images than what is seen during a race, so it’s entirely possible that these images are a little nicer than actual race footage. Regardless, they’re gorgeous, with incredibly realistic surface textures and lighting. If these images are any indication, Forza Horizon 2 will offer an amazing racing experience when it launches this Fall.

We should have more exciting news about Forza Horizon 2 next week when it makes it's debut at E3.
