I love helping my son with his Valentines every year. In the past I have taken my son to the store a few days before Valentines to pick out the traditional card and candy in a bag. This year I got the brilliant idea to put Pinterst to good use and actually make something. This was a bad idea!

Budgets are tight this time of year. You may be still recovering from Christmas or you could be waiting to see how much you owe in taxes. For these reasons Valentines Day can be difficult. Most people want to celebrate Valentines Day but want to do it on a budget. While we would all love to go to a nice 6 course dinner, none of us want to drop $200.00 . So we are all trying to think of ways to celebrate and save.

I thought it was taboo to schedule a first date for Valentine's Day. Apparently, that's not true anymore . . . single people just really want dates whenever they can get 'em. A new survey found 83% of single people would be open to going on a first date on Valentine's Day, and 70% would be willing to take it even further and go on a blind date on the 14th.
