The US has been named the funniest country in a Badoo.com survey of 30,000 people from 15 nations around the globe, while Germany - long known for its poor sense of humor - kept up the stereotype by finishing at the bottom.

Britney Spears has apparently inspired a group of U.S. Marines stationed in Afghanistan to film a fun, tongue-in-cheek video in which they lip-synch to her hit single 'Hold It Against Me.'

The video, which features members of 266 Rein and HMLA 169, reportedly took over three months to shoot, and features everything from dancing to glow sticks.

In what some say is an attempt to make its training more practical, the Army may soon drop the sit-up from its fitness requirements.
