Schools refuse to take our kids during the summertime . . . which is why we had to invent summer camp.  But there's no reason why kids should get to have all the fun.   Here are eight summer camps from Time Newsfeed for adults.

Club Getaway:  It's just like your kids' camp . . . except the cabins have A/C, the cafeteria is catered, and there's alcohol.  It costs $289 to $469 for a weekend.

Chef Camp:  The Culinary Institute of America has two-to-five-day camps to teach you how to cook gourmet foods.  It'll run you $895 to $2,195, plus extra for cooking tools.

There's a new survey in PR Newswire from Triple-A and a company called Kurgo that makes pet travel products, and they found that 56% of Americans drive with their dog in the car at least once a month.

According to the American Red Cross, In May and June, donations were at the lowest level the Red Cross has seen in over a dozen years, while demand for blood products remained steady. I would like to think that if there was a time to speed, it would be when you are driving a women who is in labor to the hospital. Right?

The Winnipeg Free Press reports that back on March 21st, Genevieve went into labor with her two weeks early in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba . Genevieve had complications when she gave birth to Anabela's 3-year-old sister, and doctors warned her that she would need a C-section for the new baby.

So when Genevieve started going into labor, her husband Daniel put her in their Honda Civic and sped toward the hospital at 105 miles per hour.

That was when a Canadian Mountie pulled them over.

I love summer and one of the reasons I love summer is because I get to wear flip flops every where. Apparently I am not suppose to be wearing flip flops to work, which is a total bummer.

According to a new survey from the staffing firm Adecco on Reuters, the most inappropriate thing to wear to the office during the summer is Flip-Flops.

About 75% of Americans think it's okay to dress more casually at work during the summer but 71% say that flip-flops are not the casual choice you should make.

Krystal Meyer, is a member of our community who goes above and beyond to help cancer patients. She has been selected to volunteer at Camp Rainbow at Cathedral Pines in Hailey Idaho.

Camp Rainbow is a week-long sleepover camp for children ages 6 to 13 who have had or are currently living with cancer or other blood-related disorders.  The goal of Camp Rainbow is to enable these children to have a “normal” camping experience, regardless of their illness or the side effects of their treatments.
