February 26, 2013 According to a new survey, one in seven people have accidentally sent a dirty text to the wrong person. The most common person is a friend followed by your EX. Co-workers and family came in third and fourth.
Being a teenager is a perilous time in one's life as a not-quite fully developed brain will cause the teen to make all kinds of questionable decisions.
Now thanks to a new phenomenon called sleep-texting, the teenager can even make these bad decisions while they are catching z's.
Although it became a widely used form of communication only recently, texting is actually a decades-old technology. In fact, it celebrated its 20th birthday on Monday, which makes it older than most of the kids who use it. OMG!

Before smartphones you only had 140 characters to get your message across and that led to a whole language of abbreviations like "OMG," "BRB," "LOL,"LTR," "BFF," and about ten thousand more. There are times I felt like a code cracker just trying to figure out what my friends where trying to tell me.
