Over the years there have been some great performers at the Super Bowl. Chubby Checker in 1988, Blues Brothers, James Brown, and ZZ Top in 1997, and The Stones in 2006. There have also been a few not so good choices. Remember Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson in 2004 or Beyonce in 2003?
I like a good, friendly sports bet among friends, but I never bet money...for GOOD reason! Last month, a store in Houston called Gallery Furniture lost $685,000 on a promotion where customers could win FREE FURNITURE if they correctly guessed the winners of the AFC and NFC championship games.

Talk about premature celebration. One loyal Denver Broncos fan was a little too confident about his team's chances of winning the Super Bowl, getting a very prominent Denver Broncos tattoo on his back that proclaimed them Super Bowl XLVIII Champs.

I love the super bowl. It's an excuse to get together with friends, eat food that is really bad for you and yell at the TV. My only issue with the Super Bowl is it happens on Sunday instead of Saturday. Why can't they move is to Saturday?
This is Fidget, one of our beloved dumpster kitties, I mean barn kitties (the boss prefers me calling them this). Anyways, these cats have been here forever and are supposed to keep down the rodent population. However, I have a sneaking suspicions that they are just freeloading and eating all the cat food.
Either way, I hear that these dumpster kitties are HUGE football fans. Find out who Fidge
This Sunday, February 2, 2014 at 4:30 PM MTN is the 2014 Super Bowl. The game itself and even the half-time show are amazing enough, but it doesn't stop there, the commercials are king at the Super Bowl.
For those of you who don't have a DVR or just can't wait, check out some of the 2014 Super Bowl commercials before the Super Bowl.
