The Average Person Spends $114,293 on Impulse Buys

Here's one of those studies from Daily Mail that seems to defy gender stereotypes . . . until you think about it and say, "You know, that actually makes sense."

According to a British company called Npower, MEN spend more money on impulse buys than women:  Men spend approximately $41 on impulse buys versus $31 for women.

Researchers at Georgetown University and Belmont University found that people whose last names start with letters at the end of the alphabet are more likely to make impulse purchases.

In other words, if your last name is Thomas or Young or Zimmerman, you're more likely to make an impulse buy than someone whose last name is Anderson or Branley or Davidson.
